Two point perspective drawing
For your next assignment you will be creating a drawing using two point perspective.
- 18x24" paper
- two vanishing points
- May be abstract floating shapes with shading and or imaginative elements
- May be buildings and architecture with realistic elements
- Must have shading to show direction of light and create interest
- Use sharp pencils for definition
- Smudging may be used but don't overdo it and lose the definition of edges
- Color and inking is optional
Criteria & Evaluation: Look- fors
-The student clearly demonstrates solid knowledge of two point linear perspective.
-The student can create complex shapes and forms (might include hollow forms, overlapping, cylinders or architectural details).
-The drawing is well completed with either shading, color or inking.
-There is attention to detail.
-There is evidence of challenge and that the student has been engaged in their work and is trying to push their skills to a higher level.
